We were so blessed that our good friend and partner Apostle John Mutula of Calvary Worship Centre Soweto, South Africa recently hosted Prophet Chuck Pierce, Glory of Zion, and his team at Calvary's Sunday service. Dr. Bill & Barbara Peters co-founders founders of Angel Fire Christian Center, Simi Valley, CA began their relationship with Apostles John & Thandi Mutula in 2003 on the Peters first trip to South Africa. The couples first project together was the building of a 250 seat church for a local pastor in Soweto. The Peters then formed ICAN, the International Children's Aid Network Inc., a U.S. non-profit corporation, while the Mutula's simultaneously formed WeCAN, the Worldwide Children's Aid Network Inc. a South African non profit corporation. The two organizations then partnered on the building of the ICAN-WECAN Children's Village in Soweto for orphaned children. A 12,000 sq. ft. dining & dorm facility that will be home to 100 children is nearing completion. An education wing with 10 classrooms, 2 administration offices, and 2 restrooms is also nearing the construction phase. Read Chuck Pierce's comments on his visit to Calvary Worship Center.
